How the greatest tournament in the world started….The History of the Well Hung Cup!
Local golf legends Frank ‘V’ Villella & Bryan ‘Smooz’ Smusiak were playing a round of golf at a course called Oaklands Golf & Country Club. It was a lovely Saturday afternoon when both V & Smooz hit AMAZING bogeys on a par 3. They both proclaimed that we were the best golfers this world has ever seen. V responded by saying these shots will get us on the ZPGA, Smooz says WTF is the ZPGA and V responds with the ZPGA is the only possible golf tour that we would ever make ….POOF! The Well Hung Cup is born! Being a charter member of the Well Hung Cup and a member of the ZPGA allows all players to pay full price at a municipal, semi – private or private course including tees & balls! The real reason as to why this tournament was created was to ensure that a certain group of guys get together once a year for a weekend to celebrate complete and utter debauchery! May this tournament continue through our sons and their sons after them.
